I greatly prefer the i5 over the SM57 on all the applications that I've tried. The fact that you get an extra stand and cable definitely adds value. You will definitely use this mic
Great microphone, solidly built! Use it in studio applications on Snare and Guitar Cabinet. Works great for both of these applications. Have not used it for vocal microphone, but only due to the other microphones available in the studio.
