Manual for AudioWarrior Acoustic Strummer Reason Refill

General Media

Stunningly realistic guitar sounds and feel!

An NN-XT Advanced Sampler Refill instrument that you can actually strum with a guitar pick designed exclusively for Propellerhead's award-winning music production application. Integrates seamlessly using Rewire with most major recording hosts including Digidesign Pro Tools.

Acoustic Strummer is designed to let you use a strumming action on a MIDI keyboard, in real time, to play guitar chords. The programming for Reason's NN-XT takes care of organizing the individual notes into chords, ready for you to lay out on the keyboard for performance.

The brand-new included half-gig library consists of a sampled dual-tuned (Low B and A-440) 6-string acoustic dreadnought guitar that lives in your computer. It has been sampled on all open strings and all frets up to the 20th with five velocity layers per chord patch. It includes wood thumps and slaps, plinks, and stunningly beautiful harmonics sampled at the 5th, 7th, and 12th fret (Low B Tuning). 440 harmonics will be available as a download for registered users.

It supports strum forward, strum reverse, or playing individual notes of the chords including Natural Harmonics, Plinks, Scrapes, and Wood Sounds. It's possible to map out an entire simple acoustic guitar song with all the chords ready to be played in 24-bit high resolution on your keyboard in a few minutes. You can position as many different 6-note chord patches as your keyboard can hold.

Great Sound

They say "stunningly realistic guitar sounds" and they are not kidding. Easy to load up and get using right out of the box.....they even include the pick! I don't play acoustic guitar but I can create some really good tracks using audio warrior. The sounds are very true and they have thumps, slaps, harmonics, etc. The library is huge...I haven't even through everything on the disc, let alone the free download from AW. Outstanding product, great sound, great value.
