Excellent Vocal Reproduction

By Hugh

from Kingman, AZ

This microphone performs beautifully! We were considering the Countryman but the price was just a little out of our budget. We have purchased other Audio-Technica products and been happy with them. I was really impressed with the signal strength we are seeing at the receiver. This mic simply outperforms any lapel mic. It is easy to use and comfortable to wear. We have 4 different individuals using the same earpiece and no one has complained yet. No longer do we have dropped audio or thumping coming from someone tapping their chest, etc. We use this for speech presentation but I am comfortable with the vocal reproduction for singing as well. This is an excellent addition to our current audio setup.

Too Fragile

By Anthony

from Westlake, OH

These are OK. They are a bit pricey and sound great. However, they are much too fragile. I use these at my high school and we've broken two after 2 years. While this is understandable, we also use them at a community theatre I work for and we've broken one there too. Mind you, at the community theatre, they are all adults using them with care. The problem is, everyone bends the wire and eventually they break. In any case possible, I prefer to use lavaliere mics compared to these because of reliability. Plus, these tend to fall off ears and are a pain to use even with tape. I give them a three because they sound good, but they are just too fragile/unreliable to use constantly.
