Supplied with Audio-Technica's versatile UniMount clip and new violin mount, the low-profile ATM350 is an exceptional cardioid condenser microphone designed to clip to brass, reeds, piano, snare, toms, and violin. The microphone offers a crisp, clear, well-balanced response, even at high SPLs.
It features an integral 80 Hz hi-pass filter and is also equipped with a new in-line power module. Its cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the side and rear for effective protection against feedback.

I'm using a pair of these mics in a baby grand piano in a church. The sounds is very clear and clean. My only issue with the mics is that the clips are very small and in our piano, too small to be clipped onto the body of the piano under the cover. So I had to attach them to the bar that the sheet music holder slides on. I keep the lid closed so as to ensure that the majority of the sound the congregation hears is coming from the mics. Very happy with these mics.
