The Audio-Technica PRO 49QL is a cardioid condenser quick-mount gooseneck microphone. Plugs directly into a panel- or desk-mounted XLR(F)-type connector or to a standard XLR(F) mic cable. Includes windscreen. 16-1/2' long.
We use these for our readers at church, and they do a decent job of avoid pops and picking up the readers accurately, but occasionally they make horrible noises when you move the neck and the mic is live. Never been able to figure out why (because it isn't a constant thing).

I really enjoyed using these mics for my internet radio show and i was extremely surprised of how good the sound was when it went through my audio interface.....it was great for the type of stuff i was doing. WORTH BUYING!!!
