Unobtrusive clip-on mic for brasswinds and percussion!

The Audio-Technica PRO 35 clip-on microphone is designed for sax, toms, brass and percussion. The PRO35 is a carioid condenser mic that excels in high-SPL (sound pressure level) applications and is ideal for active stage performances. Its extended frequency response captures subtle nuances of the performance. The included UniMount clip permits accurate positioning and provides shock resistance while protecting the element. The microphone's cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear, improving isolation of the desired sound source. Requires phantom power.

Great Mic

My three piece horn section (trumpet, trombone, soprano/alto/tenor sax) uses these mics along with A-T wireless rigs in numerous gigs. You can't beat this mic for horns! We are able to wander all over the venue playing which gets a great crowd response. The ruggedness and sound quality of this mic is unbeatable. I have also used this mic in a church setting playing classical trumpet pieces. It has NEVER let me down.

great mic does what others cant

this little mic is great for accoustic instruments and belive it or not it sounds great on a banjo and a mandolin it really keeps the accoustic sounds but doesnt take away the highs or lows. the only thing that keeps this mic from being better is that it doesnt have other types of clips for it but if you get it you be surpised at how good it works in many different situations and instruments
