These are great headphones for the price, for doing editing and mixing work in the studio. Great flat and clear response, making it accurate for finding errors with in your recording. Not recommended for everyday audio listening use (iPod, ect..), these are strictly studio monitoring headphones.

First thing you need to know before you buy these is that without any EQ these headphones are very flat. But thats how they need to be for mastering and mixing! If you want to listen to music with these then play with the EQ and youll be very impressed!!! I couldnt believe how clear these were! I can hear everything in a dong and so much more. I recommend you as long as you can afford them!!!

I like this headphones quite a bit and would have given them 5 stars were it not for the following issues: 1. The small wires on the outside, near the lower ends of the headband. This is just bad design. I worry one or both of these wires will accidentally be snagged and cut, or simply degrade over time. 2. Loss of ear comfort after prolonged listening. I'm not sure why, but my ears tend hurt after about 45+ minutes of usage. This is something I have not experienced with my Seinheiser 280's. Internally, even when listening at low volume, I feel like I've been listening at high volume for an extended period of time. Take this with a grain of salt, as it could simply be the result of switching headphones. 3. Straight cable, rather than coiled. 4. They do not block outside noise quite as well as I expected. This is again in contrast with my Seinheiser 280's, which have much greater attenuation of outside sound. Problems aside, I love the sound and flat frequency curve for the price.
