Gorgeous top

The transients come through extremely sweetly and sparkling...not hard as in an Earthworks, but soft and toppy. The sound is quite scooped out, and you might want something with more mids in some situations. But for acoustic guitar strumming and even some piano work these excel, some people like them on drum overheads and I've captured some haunting violin performances on a stereo pair of them. You want 2 of them I think.
