Transformer-coupled output and a specially tuned element provide sonic characteristics reminiscent of early FET studio mics. The AT4047 mic has exceptionally low self-noise, wide dynamic range, and high SPL capability. 20 - 18,000 kHz frequency response. Audio-Technica includes a case and shockmount with the AT4047. Requires phantom power.
