  • This is what a 2ply coated head should be

    Warm, dry, controlled. i've been searching for just the right heads for my drums (Pearl Vision VX) and i have found them. Aquarian makes the best heads. coating does NOT chip AT ALL. sure it wears down, but u wont get the ugly see through spots. tuning is a breeze with these heads! seriously phenomenal. buy them

    So I just got a brand new kit, the ocdp avalon, but it came with those crappy heads that you usually get with new drums. Anyways I've used aquarians before and i tried these...They. Are. Awesome! They're easy to tune and they have a great tone. I was searching for a head that could really let my drums sing and have a deep tone. If that's what you're searching for, go with the response-2's! They really will give your set a rockin' sound.

    Every Aquarian product I've tried has always exceeded my expectations. These heads sound amazing, they tune with ease, and the coating is the best hands down. I tune to specific notes on my toms and these heads respond to a wide range of tunings. This head also gives the snare a great dry crack when tuned high. These are just as good, better imo, as any Remo or Evans product. If you try these heads you will not be disappointed. Aquarian for life!
