These rings are great! They help tone the overtones, yet they dont choke the sound. They make the room you are playing in a lot quieter too!
these rings are awesome. they really dampen the sound and at same time its getting rid of the overtones. works great for both your snare and toms.
These studio rings are just what the drummer ordered if you are looking for dampening rings for fusion size drums including a 10" small tom and a 16" large floor tom, without having to buy 2 different packages. I also like the fact that the widths are consistent and narrower than most others. They just reduce the high overtone ring without effecting overall drum tone. I have used Evans, Remo, and Noble & Cooley dampening rings on my Yamaha drums and on my Noble & Cooley drums and I definitely like these the best. I am currently using them on top of Evans EC2 clear heads, which were still giving me just a little too much ring on my Noble & Cooley CD Maples in a room with tile floors and not much carpet.
