This has been my first time ever using a drum dampening product and I have to say that my drums sound much better. There isn't as much of that ringing noise after you play. So far I've been practicing with these for a few weaks and they are still working great. The only thing that I wish came with it would be a bass dampener, but otherwise I highly reccomend this product.

a drummer i know told me about them so i bought them and i think they are really amazing.tape them on with some clear tape to prevent them from FLYING OFF.butt besides that its amazing! i used cloth and weights to muffle it before,no tone out of it,these simple little plastic rings MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE in the sound quality, volume, and pitch great for metal drumming,

I really like the quality of these sound rings. I have used other ones before buy they seemed thicker. Some drummers say all sound rings are the same, I disagree. If you really look close at the Aquarians you will notice they are not quite as wide and heavy as others. That's what I really like about them. I considered other rings but found out the width of those varied depending on the diameter. Aquarians are the best rings I have ever used. It makes my drum kit sound very professional. Also the look of the rings are totally cool with that black pistripe on them and not a whole lot of graphics or additonal lettering. So if your considering this type of sound control for your drums, don't wait, get these babies now! Your drums will sound so much better with no overtones or ringing.

ya they are very nice!! they cut out the nasty ring that nobody likes!! but for the guy with the bass drum problem, its called a remo muffle ring. it mounts on your bass head and it works really nice!! it sounds great with an emad bass head!! if your current bass head doesn't have a dampener on it already like the emad and the new remo one, put it on the kick side of the drum, if you do have the emad or remo, put it on the logo side of the drum!! pretty self explanatory!!
