  • My favorite drumheads

    In my opinion there are really no better heads than these. They are amazingly durable and sound great in all settings whether it be live, studio, or just practicing. If tuned correctly they will give you the tone that most drummers look for, a nice fat and deep but melodic sound. I mostly recommend them for heavier music like Metal or Hardcore but they are versatile enough that they can be used for lighter styles as well. My only bad thing to say about them is that they are a little pricey compared to other heads but like all instruments, you get what you pay for.

    if your looking for a great drum head for Heavy Metal This is it !!! This deliver's ! And it deliver's well !! I've bought these 3 months ago and oh my ! it was my first time tuning a drum set and it sounds great. I really love aquarian drumheads my kit is filled with em'. Never let the underrated brands fool these do the job well. I couldn't more satisfied :) Buy these they are worth it !!! Really !

  • PII for live performance mic'ed up

    Over the years I've used all sorts of mufflng techniques on toms to control what I consider to be too much ring. For some time I have taken the scissors to my old heads to make my own o-rings. Don't need them with these heads. I put them on my 12, 13, and 16 tom set-up. Tuned up easy and quick. Mic eq and set-up was painless. These heads make it easy to get that "fat" tom sound. If you are not concerned about micing the kit then the single ply Studio-X heads may be more to your liking as they are a bit louder and just a bit ringier.
