The AMT TA2 is a low profile double condenser microphone that attaches to the bell with a low mass clip specifically designed soprano or baritone saxophone. The microphone provides pure tonal reproduction while being unobtrusive. The TA2 is an excellent choice for a principal artist or soloist.

The microphone attaches to the bell of instrument, the top or over the keys microphone is suspended in a 4 point isolation ring reducing valve, key, click, and handling noise. The second microphone is placed in front of the bell of the microphone. Both microphones are on goosenecks for optimal placement. It's rugged construction of anodized aviation aluminum makes it highly durable, while being lightweight and non-corrosive.

The TA2 is terminated by a 3.5mm plug which connects to a belt pack preamp. The output is a pre-determined mix balanced at AMT's state of the art facility. The engineers choose the balance by the natural sound of the instrument. The included belt pack houses a volume control, contours the setup for the intended instrument, and powers the microphone system appropriately. A low Z cable and case is included.

Requires phantom power.
