The AMT HR3 is Applied Microphone Technology's 3rd generation of harmonica microphone systems. It's designed and manufactured by hand in the USA to reproduce the sound of the harmonica as naturally as possible.
The HR3 microphone is intended to fit different-sized harmonicas from diatonic to 16-hole. The HR3, unlike its predecessors, has a clamp that adjusts by a thumb and allen screw to fit different instruments.
The HR3 mic also includes AMT's DCT (Disconnecting Cable Technology), allowing for easy replacement of the cable from the harmonica microphone and giving it the ability to interface with various wireless systems on the market.
The included AMT inline preamp can be used on the floor, with a belt clip, or in a pocket, and it has a low roll-off filter as well as a dB cut. The system includes a soft carrying pouch, AMT inline preamp (phantom power required), and adjustable clamp.
