Apple Logic Express 8

By Sackhy

Comments about Apple Logic Express 8:

This is my first software that i'm gettion into, i think it's pretty good for the money, you can always upgrade to pro, so that's a plus, a decent amount of instruments, somewhat user friendly, the recordings sound great when exported, if your looking for instruments for rap, i wouldn't go after this one, but for all other styles it's worth the money.

Two Thumbs & Two Big Toes Up!

By Dr. Mumbo-JFjGc

Comments about Apple Logic Express 8:

I started with ProTools but just never felt comfortable with the nonintuitive way the program works. So what the heck, let's give Logic a try - and it was the correct decision all the way. Fabulous sound, precision editing, intuitive layout. I could go on but it all boils down to the same thing - Logic all the way!

A Well Rounded DAW

By Chucky

Comments about Apple Logic Express 8:

Protools is "The" tracking program. Logic, however, is really generous is the virtual instruments and effects plug-ins. With protools, youre gonna have to buy some separate plug-ins to be able to do all the really cool stuff. With Logic, it really comes with quite a bit to work with. With basic knowledge of tracking and editing, you can do alot in Logic, especially for all the bands coming out now that want to have songs of all breakdowns and techno beats. its all there. Especially since theyve teamed up with propellorhead. Reason rewired to Logic is really awesome. the difference between logic express and studio is in the the virtual instruments. What makes studio worth the extra $ is the ridiculous amount of plug ins and instruments, again, something Logic is known for. Dont get me wrong, express is sweet, I gave it five stars for a reason. I use it constantly. Got it preinstalled on my mac, and its worked great all along.

Comments about Apple Logic Express 8:

Best DAW in its price range. Great interface, tons of features, plus the inclusion of GuitarAmp Pro, Ultrabeat and AutoTune plugin makes this the best version of Logic Express to date.

:-)

By Adam Buker

Comments about Apple Logic Express 8:

If you are serious about streamlining your workflow as a composing musician from conception to mixdown and don't have a lot of money to spend, then this is the perfect program for you. However, if you have a couple hundred more dollars to spare (or looking for a new UI face for a ProTools set-up), then go ahead and get Logic Studio.

This can really sound good

By Sunder

from wa

Comments about Apple Logic Express 8:

If you know youre way around general recording software, this will come easy to create studio quality awesome sounding songs. If youre willing to put a little bit of time in, you (sonically) wont be able to tell a difference between this and software costing much more or protools. It has a pretty easy interface, tons of effects, and lots of loops.

it's great!

By Matt-EvHQ_

Comments about Apple Logic Express 8:

Logic is some great recording software (however much i am prone to Pro Tools), but at our college ministry we currently use this program with two PreSonus Firepod(s) or what is now known as the FP10 for up to 16 simultaneous channels of live recording (within a school gym). We get some great clean recording with this app and two interfaces and usually have to do very little editing or overdubbing to make the overall product. the quality is that great. you won't be disappointed.
