APOGEE ELECTRONICS CORPORATION warrants this product to be free of defects in material and manufacture under normal use for a period of 12 months. The term of this warranty begins on the date of sale to the purchaser. Units returned for warranty repair to Apogee or an authorized Apogee warranty repair facility will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's option, free of charge.
All units returned to Apogee or an authorized Apogee repair facility must be prepaid, insured and properly packaged. Apogee reserves the right to change or improve design at any time without prior notice. Design changes are not implemented retrospectively, and the incorporation of design changes into future units does not imply the availability of an upgrade to existing units.
This warranty is void if Apogee determines, in its sole business judgment, the defect to be the result of abuse, neglect, alteration or attempted repair by unauthorized personnel.

Limited Warranty. with lion and ilife 11, garage band and apogee jam marry perfectly. latency is non existent. gain is adjustable on the hardware. garage band covers all other functions. it has a small hardware footprint and a small software print also, there is none. use it with logic, garage band, any software. try it!!!
Yes! Finally a guitar interface for iDevices that actually works as any disriminating musician would expect. I tried the IKM iRig months ago and returned it the next day because it was pretty awful as most of the reviews indicated. I wasn't holding out a whole lot of hope for the Apogee Jam, but I must say I am pleasantly surprised. It works flawlessly with GarageBand with very little noise. I wasn't looking for anything too fancy, just something I could plug into my iPhone or iPad for a little on-the-go practice time and it is great for that. I've done a few recordings in GarageBand and they turned out pretty sweet as well. I've used it with both my electric and acoustic-electric guitars and am pleased with the results from both. If you have jailbroken your iDevice you can use Backgrounder or Quasar (on the iPad) to allow you to place GarageBand in the background and still get audio out of it when using another application like ForScore to read sheet music in the foreground. This is definately worth the money for the purposes I stated above. Rock on Apogee. I'm definately a fan of this company now.
I just got my JAM 2 weeks ago and have used it for 3 live gigs so far (along with my iPad and iClip holder). I use the amp selection and virtual stomp boxes in Garage Band and have been able to get some great sounds from the JAM through this. I don't have buzz or feedback problems at all. But keep in mind if you're running through the Apogee Jam through an iPad, because the levels coming from your iPad aren't very hot, you should put a DI in between your iPad and PA system. But the JAM is small and works great - I would recommend it to anyone who wants a variety of amp sounds without carrying all the equipment. I've used a variety of stomp boxes and modelers - this is the way to go!
