Warranty
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
On May 1st, 2009, the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg websites will be updated with the addition of warranty URLs (e.g. www.mackie.com/warranty) expressing new A Stock warranty terms. These warranty URLs will go live on May 1st, 2009. Formerly, warranty periods for these LOUD brands appeared in a variety of locations – in product manuals (for Mackie and TAPCO) and on warranty cards and hang tags (for Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg). In order to streamline and clarify this process, Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg warranty periods and terms will be communicated in full on the warranty pages. Any LOUD products purchased prior to May 1st will bear with them the manufacturer’s warranty as predates the new policy. Moving through this transition, in order for customers to obtain warranty service, both the sales receipt and a physical copy of the (older) warranty statement will be required by our Service and Support departments in order to issue Service Requests, etc. If the product was purchased on or after May 1st, 2009, but a physical copy of the older warranty terms is not presented, the new warranty terms and periods will apply. Meanwhile, the products that bear with them the new warranty periods (as reflected in the box contents of each product) are being tracked by serial #, and contain new warranty content referring customers to the appropriate brand website. The information below reflects the product warranty periods that will be effective on May 1st, 2009 for the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg brands: Mackie: A 3-year, nontransferable, inclusive warranty on electronics and a 2-year, nontransferable, inclusive warranty on drivers (where applicable) apply to loudspeakers (active and passive), power amps, powered mixers, and HR studio monitors. Ampeg 4x10 with horn bass cabinet

By Eddie Miranda

from Kissimmee, FL

I have an older model Ampeg 4x10 bass cabinet with the horn, and I just love it. This particular bass cabinet is from the 80's, but the sound is unbelievable. I use an Ampeg B2R 300watt head, and play a Schecter Diamond Series bass, and also an Ibanez SGR. Both sound fantastic going through this amp head and cabinet, you can feel the ground shake beneath you as you play. Wonderful feeling that I will never trade in or sell, I might get other heads and cabinets eventually, but what I have now I will never get rid of!!

An acoustic punch in the face!

By Michael Dobrzyn

from NE Pennsylvania

I have always been a big Ampeg fan. I have a clasic portaflex from the sixties and have used it until last year. I wanted an amp that would give me the punch I needed for more modern rock, funk and alternative rock. This cabinet gave me the acoustic punch I was looking for. I use it with an SVT-350HE Head. The truth is Ampeg did it again. I love this amp and cab!

Awesome addition to my bass gear

By Slade

from Los Angeles, CA

I play in a couple death metal bands and 1 goth/death rock band. I have an SVT6Pro head, 31 parameter EQ, and a BBE Sonic Maximizer powering the cab. I normally use my Ampeg 810, but got this 410 for rehearsals (810 kills my back) and for gigs with hard to reach stages. Depending on gig, I use my Schecter Stilleto Custom, Zon RT-5, or Fender P Bass. This 410 handles everything the 810 does and with better clarity. I love it. I will pair it with a 115 to burden that with the lower boom, but this 410 rocks. I highly recommend it.

By bas

this is a great mid/high-range amp it gets over the mix pretty well and holds up pretty well other than the vinyl gets ripped pretty easy when travling but all together is a great amp

Awesome combination clarity and warm tone

By Kevin

from Maryland

Like the Fender Precision and Jazz Basses, Ampeg is a true Icon in every sense of the word. More hits have been recorded using Ampeg than any other amp out there, and there is a reason why, T O N E! The SVT 410HE possesses an exceptional WARM and CLEAR tone that in my opinion is second to none! Whether it is used as a stand alone cabinet, or matched with a 15 or 18 bottom, the 410HE is far superior to most cabinets out there that cost nearly $400-500 dollars more. In live applications, the 410HE cuts through the mix much better than the "in-the-now" ported cabinets, and allows you to be HEARD, not just felt. I will caution you, if you want a Boomy sound, this is not your cabinet. If you want warmth and clarity, this is your baby! Yes, I've tried several cabinets to include Eden, Epifani, Glock.....,GK, Mesa and SWR, and I prefer this cabinet over all of them. I simply can't say enough about this rig, and as long as my ears hear that tone, I will play mine forever!

Nice Amp

By Mister Beagle

from Undisclosed

I used this amp for the first time at my church, since my Behringer cab is too big to take to and fro. We just leave that amp at the church. But this is a nice amp! A nice, compact, and clear sound, and a very sturdy build. (i had to get on top of it to remove christmas decorations, and i weigh 160 lbs.) Very, very sturdy. I haven't really messed with the controls, because i never had to adjust them. Overall, this is a very good amp.

Ampeg SVT410HE

By xOriginalNinjax

from Muncie, IN

The Ampeg SVT410HE is a great midrange frequency cab. I run it under my Fender Bassman 410 and Ampeg B2R and it sings all the mids, low mids, and high mids you could need. I've never run it solo, except to test it, so I don't really know it's full standalone potential, but with a ported, low/high range cab, it can't be beaten for sound. It has the Ampeg grit of the 810, without the bulkiness. Overall great cab and built like a rock.

Great Sound

By Guitarded

from Beaumont, TX

I absolutely love the sound of Ampeg Cabinets. The ampeg SVT410HE 4x10 cab has an excellent tone, and response is great too. For the 5 years I have owned this cabinet, it has been completely maintenence free. This cab has been through many bands, but when the guitar cabs are blowing speakers, this cab is playing like a dream.
