Warranty
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
On May 1st, 2009, the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg websites will be updated with the addition of warranty URLs (e.g. www.mackie.com/warranty) expressing new A Stock warranty terms. These warranty URLs will go live on May 1st, 2009. Formerly, warranty periods for these LOUD brands appeared in a variety of locations – in product manuals (for Mackie and TAPCO) and on warranty cards and hang tags (for Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg). In order to streamline and clarify this process, Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg warranty periods and terms will be communicated in full on the warranty pages. Any LOUD products purchased prior to May 1st will bear with them the manufacturer’s warranty as predates the new policy. Moving through this transition, in order for customers to obtain warranty service, both the sales receipt and a physical copy of the (older) warranty statement will be required by our Service and Support departments in order to issue Service Requests, etc. If the product was purchased on or after May 1st, 2009, but a physical copy of the older warranty terms is not presented, the new warranty terms and periods will apply. Meanwhile, the products that bear with them the new warranty periods (as reflected in the box contents of each product) are being tracked by serial #, and contain new warranty content referring customers to the appropriate brand website. The information below reflects the product warranty periods that will be effective on May 1st, 2009 for the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg brands: Mackie: A 3-year, nontransferable, inclusive warranty on electronics and a 2-year, nontransferable, inclusive warranty on drivers (where applicable) apply to loudspeakers (active and passive), power amps, powered mixers, and HR studio monitors. Comments about Ampeg B410HLF 4x10" Bass Speaker Cabinet:

i got this cab to replace my 'Dr Bass' cabinet be cause the guy's a crook and didn't want to give stage space to that nameplate! i refilled the box with eminence ca2010s and this thing is awesome! i'm sure i'm out of warranty, but it's worth it. even if you use it stock, it carries a broad range of tone for the money!

Big sound/Small Package

Comments about Ampeg B410HLF 4x10" Bass Speaker Cabinet:

Played an a metal band for a while with this amp and while the rest of the bands that played shows with us were using the Ampeg 8x10 i was using this one and getting just as good a sound (better in my opinion) as they were. I'll use this amp until I give out or it does and right now we're both going strong.

Best Sounding 4-10

By Sylvester Snap Andrews

from New Orleans, La

Comments about Ampeg B410HLF 4x10" Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I wrote earlier that i had issues with the tweeter in this cab. I was the problem. I was pushing one Ampeg 4-10 with a GK 800RB, that 4 ohm cab produced 500 watts on that 400 watt cab. I have not blown a tweeter since. I use a GK 400RB with one 4-10 and the 800 RB with 2-4-10 cabs. The low end can rival a 1-15 or 1-18 cab!!! The highs are still the best for slapping. My Marcus Miller bass really sounds great! Give this cab a try and you will buy one. It also is the lightest non-Neo 4-10. I can pick it up with no problem. It carries my Roland VB-99 patches to a higher level. One Monster Rig.

Great bang for your Buck

By Sylvester Snap Andrews

from New Orleans,La

Comments about Ampeg B410HLF 4x10" Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I bought this cabinet, because Harrahs Casino has it for its backline. They use it with a GK 800RB and they use a GK400RB. This setup has so much definition. That tweeter gives the most crisp highs i have heard and the woofers are thunderous. The only drawback is the tweeter will stop working if you push it hard or your amp has no peak or limiter LEDs. There is something in the circuit board that goes out and has to be replaced. I learned the hard way. I have 2 of these speakers that i use with the Gk 800RB

BANG FOR THE BUCK

By universalfe

Comments about Ampeg B410HLF 4x10" Bass Speaker Cabinet:

This cabinet is a very close relative to the SVT 410 cabinet, only it costs less and doesn't handle as much power. The sound quality is very near the same. Personally, I prefer the shelf-type ports on the front instead of the normal ports on the back. The low-frequency response is increased by this, making this quite the versatile cabinet. You don't NEED an additional 15" to get really low, though if you plan on getting really loud, it would be recommended. Great cabinet for the money.
