No mere tribute—it delivers the legendary performance, look, and tone of the original.
Handbuilt and hand-wired in the USA, the Ampeg Heritage Series B-15 is a limited-edition tube bass combo amp for the true bass connoisseur. You'll instantly gravitate to its classic flip-top design, double-baffle cabinet, and all-tube head with two distinct channels and bias modes that meticulously re-create the world's most sought-after bass tone.
Each channel on the B-15 Heritage has its own flavor and bias mode for the ultimate in tone control. Channel 1 is based on a 1964 B-15NC, while Channel 2 is based on a 1966 B-15NF. Selectable 1964 cathode-bias or 1966 fixed-bias modes deliver even more classic tones along with the legendary Baxandall bass/treble tone stack on each channel.
The double-baffle cabinet design delivers classic tone from a custom-designed 15" U.S.-made Eminence driver with a 109 oz. magnet.
The Heritage Series B-15 uses high-quality, point-to-point wiring and high-grade new and NOS tubes, and over 90% of its components are of U.S. origin. Heads and cabs are matched and numbered. Only 50 of these amps will be made, so get yours while you can!

On May 1st, 2009, the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg websites will be updated with the addition of warranty URLs (e.g. www.mackie.com/warranty) expressing new A Stock warranty terms. These warranty URLs will go live on May 1st, 2009. Formerly, warranty periods for these LOUD brands appeared in a variety of locations – in product manuals (for Mackie and TAPCO) and on warranty cards and hang tags (for Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg). In order to streamline and clarify this process, Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg warranty periods and terms will be communicated in full on the warranty pages.
Any LOUD products purchased prior to May 1st will bear with them the manufacturer’s warranty as predates the new policy. Moving through this transition, in order for customers to obtain warranty service, both the sales receipt and a physical copy of the (older) warranty statement will be required by our Service and Support departments in order to issue Service Requests, etc. If the product was purchased on or after May 1st, 2009, but a physical copy of the older warranty terms is not presented, the new warranty terms and periods will apply. Meanwhile, the products that bear with them the new warranty periods (as reflected in the box contents of each product) are being tracked by serial #, and contain new warranty content referring customers to the appropriate brand website.
The information below reflects the product warranty periods that will be effective on May 1st, 2009 for the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg brands:
