Portable, powerful, and toneful!

The Ampeg BA600/115 bass combo epitomizes portability. Despite containing a 15" LF driver, an HF horn (with Level control), and 600W of power, this just over four cubic feet cab is quite transportable thanks to removable casters and its very manageable 50 pound weight.

Soundwise, it's also quite versatile. You get Ampeg's legendary tone-shaping thanks to the multi-stage 12AX7 tube preamp, Style control, 3-Band EQ, and Ultra-Hi/Lo switches. With the simple click of a switch you can also choose between the vintage B-15 channel or the aptly named Modern tone.

Ampeg integrated a Class D power section and universal switching power supply, which helps keep the BA600's weight factor low, but doesn't sacrifice power output or impressive sound quality. It also features a variable compressor, selectable pre/post XLR tube DI with Level control (the same as our stunning SVT-DI), and an effects loop.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

Super Portable!

I bought this amp because of its light weight and the fact that it had 2 12AX7 tubes in the preamp. I wasnt disappointed in any way. This amp sounds great and is super light. Going from hauling around a 610 cab and head case to this is refreshing. I recommend it.

Not a good experience

I am a beginning bass player and picked up the BA600115 last week during GC's list sale. I got a very good deal on the amp and was excited to give it a try. My experience with the amp though was short lived. It sounded fine when played at low volumes, but started to buzz and rattle when I started pushing the volume. Maybe the unit I got was defective, but it was clearly not behaving normally. I returned the amp and ended up buying separates instead of a combo. I will not say to avoid this amplifier, but be sure to thoroughly test drive it before purchasing.
