Product Information

Portable, powerful, and toneful.

At just 50 pounds, you'll wonder how Ampeg crammed so many features into it's BA300/210 bass combo. Although it packs dual 10" LF drivers, a HF horn (with Level control), and 300 Watts of pure Ampeg output into its small frame, this combo is ultra-transportable. It even includes a set of removable casters, so you're ready to roll whenever you've got a gig or need to take it to the garage for practice. The bass amp gives you all the Ampeg tone-shaping you've grown accustomed to thanks to its 12AX7 tube preamp, Style control, 3-Band EQ, and Ultra-High/Low switches.

In order to keep the weight factor low without sacrificing power output, Ampeg integrated a Class-D switching power supply. They also gave it a variable compressor and a selectable pre/post XLR tube DI with Level control. All together, it makes Ampeg BA300/210 amplifier ideal for the semi-pro to professional player seeking superb tone-sculpting options, extreme portability, and SVT-level output.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

Ampeg BA300-210

The best word to describe this amp is TONE. The 12AX7 tube preamp and solid state power amp do a great job producing the Ampeg sound. Upon hearing the BA300 at rehearsal the first time, our lead guitarist said several times, “I can’t believe the tone coming out of that thing”. With the BA300’s Ultra-Hi and Ultra-Lo switches, Bass, Mid, Low, Horn Level controls and Style selector, I can dial-up almost any sound I desire. My need for simplicity is another reason why I chose the BA300. Its simple controls are noteworthy. Overall, I am very pleased with the BA300-210. I really like the sound of this amp and its ease of use.

Just what I was looking for

I grew up on an Ampeg B-25B. I have drifted through a series of cabinets and amps since then, but I always missed that sound. I needed a smaller combo amp (something my aging frame could haul around) and this fit the bill. I can get the sound I missed, but I can do a lot more with it as well. I was playing with a friend and he could not believe the range of different tones I could get from that little cube. Paired with my Fender Jass 24-V, I think I am set for some time.

Great Ampeg Tone!

This amp has proven to be reliable since I bought it. It has never failed in any aspect. The tone you get is what you can expect from a great Ampeg amp, nothing less. You can get great lows, mids, and highs, too! This beast can also be amazingly loud. It will fill a mid-size venue with no problem. Once you buy this amp, you will use it for a very long time.... at least I have not found any reason to replace it in the whole year I´ve had it.
