On May 1st, 2009, the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg websites will be updated with the addition of warranty URLs (e.g. www.mackie.com/warranty) expressing new A Stock warranty terms. These warranty URLs will go live on May 1st, 2009. Formerly, warranty periods for these LOUD brands appeared in a variety of locations – in product manuals (for Mackie and TAPCO) and on warranty cards and hang tags (for Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg). In order to streamline and clarify this process, Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg warranty periods and terms will be communicated in full on the warranty pages. Any LOUD products purchased prior to May 1st will bear with them the manufacturer’s warranty as predates the new policy. Moving through this transition, in order for customers to obtain warranty service, both the sales receipt and a physical copy of the (older) warranty statement will be required by our Service and Support departments in order to issue Service Requests, etc. If the product was purchased on or after May 1st, 2009, but a physical copy of the older warranty terms is not presented, the new warranty terms and periods will apply. Meanwhile, the products that bear with them the new warranty periods (as reflected in the box contents of each product) are being tracked by serial #, and contain new warranty content referring customers to the appropriate brand website. The information below reflects the product warranty periods that will be effective on May 1st, 2009 for the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg brands: Mackie: A 3-year, nontransferable, inclusive warranty on electronics and a 2-year, nontransferable, inclusive warranty on drivers (where applicable) apply to loudspeakers (active and passive), power amps, powered mixers, and HR studio monitors. A 1-year, all inclusive, nontransferable warranty applies to all mixers, MR Studio Monitors, Control Surfaces, Processors (digital), MR Studio Monitors, Control Surfaces, Audio/MIDI Interfaces, other SR & Recording Products. • thunderous!!!!! total cannons

As reviewed by jason frazier on 10/20/2011

ok, here goes: im a working musician who recently purchased the b115e cabinet. i added this cab to the matching b410he cab and a b2re head. everything stock, it sounds thunderous, and major overkill for most places we play. very impressive. however, im not one who settles with stock. im planning to upgrade with higher wattage speakers. definately worth the value, and i would buy these cabs again in a heartbeat.

  • Bottoms Up

As reviewed by Richard Jones on 10/6/2011

I'm a working bass player in Los Angeles and my 350 head and two ten speakers from Ampeg sound great in clubs and small venues, but as a 60s experience band (Big Bertha)I needed a bigger deeper sound for the big outdoor concerts. The B115 cabinet works great as my bottom stack component and the included wheels makes it easy to roll to the stage. The 350 head easily drives both Ampeg cabinets and lets me compete with the keyboard, lead guitar and drums. If I need more volume I use the direct out and patch into the PA; maintaining that smooth full Ampeg sound. Ready to rock in any environment! You can hear the sound this combo makes on Big Bertha (rocks)Facebook page.

  • Add the Thump or use it alone

As reviewed by BluePinupBass on 1/9/2007

This cabinet is by far one of the best I have ever owned. It is very versatile. I use it by itself with my SVT-350 head for Jazz gigs with my upright and it sounds perfect.....Warm, Balanced, and Clean. I also use it with that head and a SVT-210HE with my band, which is Modern Rock, and use active Fender Jazz basses....It really fills up the bottom end. Has a great full resonant tone and hits the lows the 10's just can't reach.....Being a trio that's very important to keep the sound full and the 210/115 combo beats the pants off of an 8x10. Not to mention, the 2 cabs are much easier to load into the trailer..... Also this cab has some of the best tones I've ever used in the studio...I use it on everyone I record! If you need a great cab to fill up a room.....buy this one....You just can't beat an Ampeg!!!
