A Darn Good Light!

Overall, the American DJ Starball II is a great light! First of all, some of my other lights are made out of plastic, and the light bulbs burn out pretty quickly in them. This is definitely not the case with the American DJ Starball II. It is completely metal, and the bulb lasts a pretty long time. This light is also very easy to use. You just plug it in, and the light does the rest! It makes a great effect for completely dark, and smaller rooms. Now for the downsides. When the bulb finnaly does burn out, it costs about twenty dollars to replace. Also, not all rooms can be completely dark, for instance, emergency lighting always stays on. When the room it is in has just one light on the ceiling, it is good bye to your great effect! And finally, in large rooms (size of a gym with basketball court), the effect only covers part of the room, but looks really messed up on other parts of the room. The American DJ Starball II definitely beats out a regular disco ball, and is overall a great light! I'm going to keep it in my inventory for a long time!

Good effect for slow dances

This one is great for a medium to small room for an effect like the classic mirror ball of the 70's without the hassle of spotting it with another light. The effect is also just the right touch so you don't blind people on the dance floor
