The American DJ SC-8 lighting control system includes an SC-8 controller with switching pack and connector cable. The light controller has 8 channels with on/off control, flash on, plus pattern and standby controls for use with the Elation LSC T16F foot control chaser. The switch pack has 8 - 3-prong plugs and one uninterrupted power plug.

I'm a starting-up mobile DJ with a few parties and weddings under my belt. I don't need DMX yet, but I'm looking to advance. This is the perfect controller for anyone to start with. You're not spending too much dough and it works great. You'll use the flash on/off more often than you think. BONUS: I'm in college, so whenever I'm not using my lights, I put them up in my basement for parties and this controller is more than easy for my roommates to use without screwing anything up. (They're idiot proof!) If only they could learn to use the dual cd player... Other stuff to consider: The relay pack has a clicking noise, but the smallest volume of music drowns it out. The linking cable is only 20feet, so don't place your lighting tree too far away. Only one switch light has burned out and that's because I dropped it accidentally. Not sure how the T16 chase works yet- strictly analog so far. General knowledge for starting up with this pack: Don't go too crazy on par cans! Get two or four cans and two or three other solid moving lights- I suggest the Elan, the mini mace and some kind of moonflower light. LED is everything.
