  Great for dance floor wash lighting. While this fixture only has 5mm leds it still throws out a lot of light. it also doesnt blind the crowd like 10mm leds do. I bought two profile pannels thinking I was going to have to buy a lot more in the future to give off a desired dance floor wash effect. but now I know 2 will definately do the job for even medium-large scale gigs. The best part about this light is that its a budget peice but it still has the quality and warranty of all American Dj products.

  If you don't know a thing about electronics, this item is for you! It's safe enough for household use. We have a church audio-drama troop. I hated the lighting we had. We'd have to wait for it to cool off after performances before we could break it down. There were kids in the troop and I was really nervous about them burning themselves. I bought this item for mood-lighting in my studio. I love the fact that it puts out about as much heat as a clock radio, but generates the same amount of light as our old lighting. Actually, just one of these goes a long way. I can point it at a wall facing away from me to keep the brightness out of my eyes, but still have plenty of beautiful mood lighting. It's also very light-weight. I'm a musician and I use this item for jam sessions. Some of the lighting in my house makes my equipment buzz. This item doesn't. It can be set to any color. This is a great feature because some people don't like the color-change settings. You can even set it as white. I would have loved something like this when I was a teenager. It's fun to experiment with. It doesn't need to be hooked up to any other device. It works on a standard household outlet. I can get by using it without a stand as well. I sit it on a table. It's easily tilted. A wonderful product for low-budget techno-dummies like myself. Even so, it's obviously great for professional use. It's the most versitle type of lighting I have ever seen. It could even be used on your retro aluminum Christmas tree.

  What can I say, impressive and awesome! For the price these babies are a steal and if you want to control them just get the Chauvet Obey 3 and you are on your way to having a good lighting show for your crowd. I got nothing but compliments on my last gig over these lights. La Dj Looney(MLE)
