The American DJ PAR64 are definitely the most powerful lights that are not DMX-rated. If color presentation is what you want, then the ADJ-PAR64 is the way to go. But, with that much power, there is a price. I purchased 8 of these monsters in hopes of providing the best light show possible to compliment the top of my truss system. They worked great, until the Elation Light Co-Pilot II overloaded and blew the circuit. These mammoths take 500W a piece! That's 4000 watts total when they are all activated for the ELCP's all-flash function. That's a whole lot of power... My advice to you... spend a little bit more money and go with some LED pars if you really want the best show out there. Save time, save energy, and in the long run, save yourself some money. (They burn out quick too... 30-50 hours, LEDs - 100,000 hours).
Djing every weekend. I recently purchase 2 of this par 64 and they were awesome. I currently have a light show and this were added at the ends of the light show that i use on ever night I play for different types of events and this time it was a 15th birthday and a big dance hall. I thought I needed just a little more light. People were complementing me all night about the light show and sound. This are hooked up with a copilot II and sound activated. pretty strong light 500w and will add a couple more for the big venues coming up events. Complete with safety cable and elect hookup, user friendly as possible.
