Similar to a dry-ice effect, the American DJ Mister Kool Fog Machine generates billows of low-lying fog with ordinary ice cubes and fog juice at 2,500CFM. There's no need for expensive fog chillers, bulky air conditioning units, or dry ice. Includes a timer remote with on/off switch. Load up to 4 pounds of ice in the chiller box. Water drainage valve system allows easy cleanup. Water drains directly into the provided plastic bag.   • You Get What You Pay For!!!

    We purcahsed 5 (yes FIVE) of these. We had much higher expectations of these units and it came back to shoot us in the foot. The fog coming out of the units is not dense enough to stay on the ground long enough to even reach a distance of 20 feet. We used them for a large theatrical wedding to give the illusion the bride and groom were doing their first dance on clouds. Well, thanks to great photography, it was pulled off. As for the real thing, we even had the facility shut off the a/c to insure there would be no interference and it did not help. This is why my company spends the money on performance level equipment. Well, at least the Bubble Blast worked great!

    This is the worst Fog machine I have ever seen. Not at all impressed. It takes the machine about 10 minutes for the first warmup, after that it's about 3 minutes for every 30 second burst. Every 30 second burst will give you a cloud about 6ft wide by about 10ft long that completely disappears in about another 30 seconds. And yes I tried several brands of fluid, no better. You'd be lucky to keep a small closet filled with fog nevermind a room. I bought a cheap $30 halloween fog machine at Target that worked 10 times better than this unit.

  • Leaks water...trouble with ice container lid

    I was really excited about this Mr Kool fog machine. However, like others before mine, it leaks a lot of water and placed me in a very precarious situation. Electricity and water do not mix!! Also, the lid for the container that holds the ice, was not easily opened. It was stuck and took a bit of wrangling to open. Do not buy this machine. You are better off with a regular fog machine or pay up for the better ones.
