Great strobe light. I use one of these on my mobile DJ rig and it works great. Plenty bright! DMX allows percision control, which is a must for my show. Dollar to watt ratio is unbeatable! Mine is over two years old with extensive use and still works like new! Good for small through medium size venues. For big venues, buy 2 or 3. Would definitley buy it again!
All in all this strobe light is pretty good. The speed adjustment knob is sensitive meaning it goes from approximately 1 flash per second to 50 flashes per second in the first quarter turn of the knob, while the rest of the 3/4 turn doesn't change it much. The sound function seems pretty useless, I thought it was going to be a winner worked well with a foot stomp, but to the beat of the music... not even close. However it appears to be very well made, looks great and is positively BLINDING. If the sound function worked better it would be 5 stars.
I've been through many strobes but this one beats them all! I put this in my high school auditorium and it fully lit the whole area. If you want a really bright, reliable, controllable and just amazing light then GET THIS!
