  • Great colors!

    These four simple colors add a great effect to my homemade stage. I use them with four American DJ Par 38 cans. The gel frames on those are for 6-7" color sheets, so I cut these filter to adapt to the 38 frames. The mauve and pink colors are very similar in color when both illuminated but are strong and provide a great flood. The turqoise is a little on the white and bright side so a white light in your setup could be optional. But the color is still great. Cheap and nice, good product!

    These are great for adding color to your setup at little cost and are versatile. I know their meant to be used with par cans but... use your imagination and you can create some very cool stage props with these as well as use them with inexpensive lamp fixtures. I'm designing a prop that will illuminate a room's floor from the knee-height and down level using these and it should look amazing in combination with fog. I heard these can easily melt if they are touching the bulb though, but what do you expect? I have had no issues and I use these with the cheapest-a$$ lights probably possible. I simply tape the sheet to the front of Bayco 150-watt portable work lights (spring steel clamp / ball joint for easy positioning - 7 bucks at lowes, check 'em out) and get all the color I need to light the band up on stage. Some colors are much stronger than others though - the only drawback - but using different wattage bulbs fixes the issue (ex...60watt bulb for blue and 25watt bulb for red matches the color strengths evenly - I use clear bulbs, haven't messed with soft white ones yet and probably never will as clear ones probably produce the purest colors when passing through the colored-filter/gel sheet)...you'll have fun with these!

    this gel pak is a great value for your money real great colors for my par cans i got 16 par cans and i realty like the colors
