Overview

Trouper is a 2-way 200-watt bi-amplified system (130 watts LF/70 watts HF) with (3) 6 ½ (165mm) woofers and a 1 (25mm) high-frequency compression driver, delivering 65-20kHz frequency response. The system has thermal and dynamic overload protection, so the sound is always clean and clear however hard you push it.

A built-in mixer section features three channels of inputs, each with line/mic 1, line/mic 2, and Aux. XLR, RCA, ¼ and 1/8 connectors, so whether yo are a DJ, presenter or a musician, all of your cables will work with the Trouper. It features two-Band (LF/HF) built-in EQ for each channel, and Full Bluetooth capability for streaming input signals wirelessly (plus wireless linking of another Trouper system for stereo applications).

The Trouper's trapezoidal enclosure dramatically reduces internal standing wave resonances, resulting in cleaner output in upper bass and vocal range. It is easy to set up and use, and it takes a lot of real-world punishment:

It is stand-mountable with 36mm pole socket and covered in scuff-resistant black vinyl wrap and protective steel corners. Easily transportable at just 23 lb., The Trouper is a great-performing, flexible, go-anywhere PA system that makes any small-venue gig sound its best.

The Perfect Small Venue Speaker

Comments about Alto Trouper Compact High Performance PA System:

This is my second speaker. The bluetooth link works great, but only links one channel. For the money, size, and sound you get with this I don't think there is anything else on the market quite like it. Plenty of compliments on the sound so far.

Comments about Alto Trouper Compact High Performance PA System:

I'm amazed the sound quality of this Trouper Compact High Performance PA System. I used it in our church for monitor purposes but its loud enough that its looks like I don't need the main PA System. The price, sound quality, nice looking and light weight, it's awesome.

Comments about Alto Trouper Compact High Performance PA System:

Keep in mind that this unit is 100 Watts RMS. Having said that, it is fairly loud. In fact, I recently sold my Fishman SA220 after purchasing one of these units and using the bluetooth function to stream my tablet for break music. I then bought a second unit, hoping to connect the second unit via bluetooth. However ... although it will stream the recorded music from Channel 3 to the second unit, it will not bring my guitar and vocals from channels 1 & 2 over to the second unit via bluetooth. I must use an XLR cable to send all three channels. I have contacted Alto by phone about this problem and they have been very nice, but only sent links to standard FAQ pages, which I'd already read several times. My problem is not with establishing pairing between my first device and my tablet, or establishing a bluetooth connection between the two units. It is sending the sound wirelessly from the first unit to the second unit, and I mean the total sound. If anyone could help with this, I would really appreciate it. Maybe it's only supposed to send the streamed music over to the second unit, but that really defeats the purpose of me buying the second unit. And I suspect it may be a problem between left and right channels, but not sure exactly how. Thanks.

Comments about Alto Trouper Compact High Performance PA System:

Great sounding speaker. Very loud and clear. Bluetooth has a serious lag which makes it unusable for use with computer programs like garage band. Other than the disappointing bluetooth lag this is a great speaker and with three channels it is easy to play along with a backing track, vocals and guitar. Ive run my whole band through it at practice and it is plenty loud for a small room. Lightweight and easy to carry.

Comments about Alto Trouper Compact High Performance PA System:

All I do is play music, so it is important that I sound the best I can every time I play. While this system is not a Fishman sa220 or a Bose, it is a very good sounding system. I have used it without any effects, with effects via a tc helicon vocal G and with a mackie pro-fx4 it sounds very very awesome for the small investment. I highly recommend!

Comments about Alto Trouper Compact High Performance PA System:

So far I am very impressed with the Trouper's quality, and it's small "footprint". I like how well it sends the signal/audio to my floor monitor. Actually this is all in practicing at home - I have not had an opportunity to use it in a gig yet - but I am sure it will perform well. So far the only negative is the quality of sound from an mp3 plugged in via a line. I have yet to test the blue tooth.

I purchased one of these a few weeks ago,and I must say that I love it!The thing I like most is the clarity of my vocals. It is also very light to carry, and seems very well built.Sound quality overall is excellent! This solves a prominent problem I've had for years using acoustic amps at small gigs--muddy vocals. The high quality sound, the reasonable price and it's good looks make this a solo performer's DREAM.I think the TROUPER will make a lot of singer-songwriters VERY HAPPY!

I recently purchased the Alto Trouper.I've had enough playing time with it to come to the conclusion that it's a KEEPER.Great clear sound,on both vocals and acoustic guitar.I will be using this for practice,as well as gigs. The sound quality is top notch.Well built and lightweight, which I love.Well worth the Money! It's a new product but I highly recommend it if you are going to do acoustic gigs. And the power is more than enough.I have the feeling that the TROUPER will make a lot of singer-songwriters very happy.I know I am!
