Overview

Alto Professional has taken their acclaimed TX15 600-watt 15-inch active loudspeaker and made it even more capable with the addition of a rear-panel solid-state media player, complete with LCD screen. The TX15USB can play song files and playlists directly from a USB drive, play music between sets or add backing tracks to any event. The TX15USB’s media player adds an entire level of operational flexibility to an already extremely capable PA loudspeaker system. The TX15USB is perfect for small/mid-sized PA systems where great sound is required without a bulky expensive setup, such as fitness centers/dance studios, houses of worship, bars/restaurants and public speaking events.

Comments about Alto TX15USB 15" 600W Powered Speaker with USB Media Player:

These are not designed to be a primary speaker for a main event but the sound is good. The speakers are light and simple to set up and make great fill sound. At the price Guitar Center price matched, I couldn't asked for a better deal!

Comments about Alto TX15USB 15" 600W Powered Speaker with USB Media Player:

I am a drummer who wanted to use my I Phones Library to practice too. What I was unaware of is that it is only good for very old style flash usb devices. Luckily I had one to use. The rig rocks good enough to jam to but finding an XLR to Bluetooth adapter has been a pain!

Decent product - USB Player of limited value, however.

Comments about TX15USB 15" 600W Powered Speaker with USB Media Player:

I used them as a small PA at a party, but I will use them as sound reinforcement in the future. They're fine, and they seem like a very reasonable value. BUT. One of the reasons I got these was the USP media player. The player, however, will read only WAV, WMA, and MP3 files. No Apple iTunes formatted files. Yeah, you can convert them, but I didn't have time for all that. I just wanted to plug and play. The advertising should make this clear, instead of the strong implication that it WILL play iTunes formatted files (use your iPod! use your iPad!). So I went in with a 1/4 in jack, and it was fine, but the USB media player justifying the extra cost I did not use.
