Overview

The Allparts patent pending Bullet Guitar Jack Tightener is a must-have accessory for every guitar player. The patented Grip-Tip holds the jack while tightening, preventing damage to wiring and solder joints.

Similar products require additional wrenches or tools to work, and are made of metal which can scratch and damage your hardware and finish. The Bullet has everything you need in a quality plastic tool that fits in the palm of your hand.

With the Bullet at your disposal, you'll never take your jack plate off again to tighten things up.

Tighten or loosen your guitar's input / output jack with no other tools, and without jack plate removal, in three easy steps:
1) Position the socket head around the nut on your guitar jack.
2) Firmly push the Grip Tip down onto the guitar jack opening to hold it in place.
3) Use the swivel handle to tighten or loosen the nut and the jack.

I cannot remember how many jacks that I have struggled with over my 20+ years playing. On multiple occasions I ended up breaking the soldering connecting the pickups to the Jack; then end up having to partly disassemble the instrument to do repairs.

This makes tightening those loose jacks a breeze.

It works ... but you have to be ever so gentle with it. I know that working on a guitar is not the same as working on your car as far as forces applied to tools. Used once and the plastic inside diameter is already starting to dent and lose its shape. Very light-duty tool.

User Friendly - Does Job

By Oz

from Tampa, Fl

Comments about Allparts Bullet Guitar Jack Tightener:

Tightening the jack nut improperly can damage internal components by twisting the internal wiring & can break the connection. The bullet allows you to hold the tube while tightening the nut. I have seen one other tool, but at about 50% higher cost. This works as described & is simple to use. Not being metal is a good thing, but just hope its durability will not suffer (looks to be decently robust). You donۡt need it all the time, but the times when you do need itۡ_ Its worth a buy.

Great Little Gadget!

By Carlton Buehrer

from Longboat Key, Florida

Comments about Allparts Bullet Guitar Jack Tightener:

Works on my Strats exactly as advertised. Just read the directions on the pack. Very sturdy, high impact plastic tightens the input jack while holding it in place *MORE* than should be required. Certainly past Fenders (in my case) factory specs. Totally worth the money. Delivery, as usual, was extremely prompt. I highly recommend this product!

    Great tool!

    By Randy Becker

    from Las Vegas, NV

Comments about Allparts Bullet Guitar Jack Tightener:

If you have a hollow body, you need this tool. Yes it's plastic but because of the way this tool works, a metal version would definitely be over-kill. Besides the possibility of scratching the guitar, a metal tool is far more able to damage the jack. This is very simple to use and works like a charm. Buy it.

    It just works...Strats & Non

    By TONY BOSMAN

    from Farmington Hills, MI

Comments about Allparts Bullet Guitar Jack Tightener:

A very logical tool makes it easy to use and was priced right. Does the job and without scratching, what more could a guitarist want. Should have one in every guitar case.

Does what it's meant to do.

    By William Alder

    from Windsor ON, Can.

Comments about Allparts Bullet Guitar Jack Tightener:

I also have the SwingString tool that has a similar function but because of the semi-recessed jack on my MIM Strat, I can't get a wrench in very easily with it in place. The bullet is ideal for this application. Just be careful if the inner part turns while tightening as the Bullet doesn't have a fully positive grip. Watch carefully as you use it and it will do the job quickly and tidily.
