Allen & Heath Xone:S2 is an analog installation DJ mixer made to be used in clubs and bars, or by professional mobile DJ's. It's a 19" rackmount 4U mixer featuring 4 stereo dual-input channels, 2 mono mic/stereo line channels, with linear VCA channel faders, along with the legendary Xone analog filter and a host of other functions.
A USB audio interface is provided, enabling easy integration of digital media. The USB interface can be used for playback and recording to a computer from the Allen & Heath Xone:S2, or used with software to act like a hardware effects unit.
The Allen & Heath Xone:S2 represents the ideal package for club installers, with many features designed to integrate it into a typical PA system, including an output limiter system that lets you preset the maximum output level of the DJ mixer. A dedicated alarm input mutes all music channels, and an alarm message audio input connection is provided. The Allen & Heath Xone:S2 has an additional stereo input (RCA) is accessible on the front panel so guest DJs can patch in additional music sources.

A&H has by far the best sound out of all the mixers. We bought this mixer for a club install, and it's run for over 2 years straight without an issue. The best feature is the limiter. No matter how much the DJs crank up the levels, the limiter pushes everything back down and keeps our speakers safe. Great feature if you don't want to buy and program a limiter/compressor. Yes, the DJM 800 has way better effects but you can always add an EFX.
