The Xone XD-53 professional monitoring headphones have been developed to complete any professional DJ's set up, and perfectly complements the Xone DJ mixer range. The XD-53 headphones have a circumaural design, providing excellent isolation from ambient noise, which makes them ideal for DJs working in loud environments. The 53mm speaker drivers deliver an extremely high performance, with an extended low-frequency response. The rotating earpieces with soft earpads allow comfortable one-ear monitoring, and the adjustable headband ensures excellent wearing comfort. A 3.5mm stereo plug and a 6.3mm adapter plug are provided.

NEW REVIEW - Headphones for the Audiophile

These headphones are simply amazing. I've used the Pioneer HDJ for the last 6-7 years before they finally gave out. I bought these today as a replacement and was floored by the 53mm drivers with low frequency response. The cups were literally bouncing off of my ears with such power and clarity that you would not expect from headphones. The build quality is solid and durable. It's the perfect compliment to my Xone:62. You may have found the last set of headphones you'll ever need...you make the call.

Amazing Headphones

Sound Quality: This is where these guys really shine. These sound amazing. The first time I put them on I was blown away. I cranked up my home receiver and I could literally feel the headphones bouncing off of me. If you hold them in your hands you can feel the bass pretty easily. But I was even more amazed by the clarity of the highs and mids. I figured with the larger 53mm drivers this would suffer, but not true. Listening to songs I can hear things I never heard before. The attenuation on these is pretty amazing. My roommate was yelling at me while standing in my door to my room behind me and I didn't even realize it. I can snap my fingers next to my head and not even hear through the music. You can tell why A&H brags about the 53mm driver because it makes an amazing difference. I can't say enough about the sound of these headphones. If you are an audiophile, these will satisfy you without a doubt. Durability is amazing. Been dropped, in backpacks, etc many many times. The only complaint I have is they are a little big for my head. After wearing them for 3 months they fit comfortably now, as I think I am just used to it.

Can you say sweet?

Used these at a club the other night. Isolation is on point and the sound quality is superior compared to my old sonys. I used to swear by Sony headphones but I dont think I could go back.

Look no further

I just got these today and I felt like I have to write a review immediately. I just got done testing them out and I was blown away with the clarity. I've used Pioneer's, Sony's and Behringer's before and I think this headset is going to be it. I hope it lasts me a while.

Great pair from Allen & Heath

I picked these up last night and finally opened them up this morning and tested them out. A very sturdy pair of headphones. I like the bigger size drivers on these because it covers my whole ear. The sound is great, I've been listening to alot of Progressive house and they rock. They get pretty loud and retain sound quility, with some proper EQ tunning of course. I have nothing bad to say about these headphones. Just hope they last me a good while.
