this is a very basic ukulele, but functions well. its nice to have a gig bag (thin nylon and cheep), book, and CDs in one package. my daughter took to it quickly and is quite pleased. the finish is poor, arriving with scratches and overall poor finish. no shinny lacquer. but no worries if she bounces it around taking it to friends houses. the sound projection is surprisingly good. it even comes with an extra set of strings. overall worth the money and satisfied.
it is Nice uku package and it has everything for the beginner. It has a good finish and it also sounds good. I just got it less than a week, and still getting used to it. However, I noticed that it is kind of out of tune quite often, it may be because of the nylon string and relatively new. I just have to tune it often. Once it is tuned, it sounds good. I would recommend it if you are a beginner like me.
actually my daughter love it , it's the best way to her to really learn how to play and it's the first time i saw her very happy with a guitar .
Good uke for beginner.. I would give 5 stars except for finish.. some lacquer splashed over nut and fret board. Hard to keep in tune at first but after a few days strings stretched out and kept tune fairly well.. sounds decent. The accompanying DVD and text are excellent. I was able to play cords first day and played songs in a few of days of practice... Bang for buck is really good I would say.
