Alfred Music, in association with Led Zeppelin, is proud to present new Platinum Album Edition songbooks for each of the band's classic studio recordings. Drawn from more than 30 years of documentation, interviews, and recorded footage, these all-new transcriptions deliver unprecedented accuracy and insight into the guitar style of Jimmy Page. With vintage Zeppelin photographs and a historical foreword by Guitar World magazine's editor-in-chief, Brad Tolinski, each volume is a true collectible every fan must own.
In 1968, Jimmy Page left the pivotal blues-rock group The Yardbirds and formed a new touring band. Borrowing its name from an ironic dig from the Who's Keith Moon at the band's likelihood for success, Led Zeppelin was born.
The Alfred Led Zeppelin Box Set I-V Guitar Tab Platinum Edition includes every song from Led Zeppelin's groundbreaking first five albums. Each of the 44 arrangements offers exact guitar TAB transcriptions that include every bend, slide and solo.

I agree with the first reviewer. The details are all here, including Page's alternate tunings which are essential to sounding like the recordings. However, they should have included Physical Graffiti, Presence, and In Through the Out Door for completeness. Coda was less essential as it wasn't part of their original studio releases. It would have been nice if they included Hey, Hey, What Can I Do? in the songbook for III.
Very thorough and includes all the tidbits you need to get these songs down on guitar, including tunings, finger positions and pitch differences with recordings if you want to play along. I bought the 5 book set on sale. Each song shows all the guitar and vocal parts. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the Beatles book of songs is similarly (less) priced and includes all musical parts (piano, vocals, bass, drums, guitars, etc.)and it covers every song the Beatles ever recorded. It would a better deal if these books included bass with the guitar and vocals and covered all the Zep albums instead of just the first five. Overall, excellent purchase. I am very happy I got the books. I've already learned several of Page's tricks I didn't know before and confirmed others I thought I had right. Loving it.
