I'm already taking lessons on two other instruments and don't want to overload myself right now but am super anxious to get started on my amazing drum set. The CD is great - breaks each of the basic skills and the instructor uses language that is descriptive and easy to understand, throwing in some helpful tips here and there that you can try and incorporate as you practice and improve. It's not one of those videos where youmwatch it and it goes on the shelf. It's is definitely something that I will be playing again and again as I improve on each task. A little pricy at $23.00, but that seems to be the going rate for the lesson books with CD's and I think this one is of higher quality.
