After my first battery charge, I was impressed on how long this thing kept playing. I even had it charging my ipod and the Alesis kept playing well in to 18+hrs on med volume with a couple of hour sessions at full volume. I wish they had this thing back in the days of popular-big-boom-boxes back in the 80's. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Can't wait to bring this to our outdoor parties.
This unit makes it quick and easy to set up workshops and outdoor parties that need amplified sound. It's easy to connect a controller, CD player, or Ipod to the Transactive. When I'm not using it for a DJ gig, I hook it up to my laptop when I play DVDs or stream movies, and get awesome theater-like sound! I'm also amazed how long the battery charge lasts!
