These kick butt!!

If you're tight on $$ and you need some adequate studio monitors, you just can't go wrong with these Alesis M1s. They deliver great bass response and better highs than some of the more expensive brands! I listened to about 7 pairs of slightly more expensive monitors in-store and couldn't figure out why these more affordable monitors sounded better! But I didn't care, my ears don't lie. I do House/Dance music, so my monitors must be able to handle both great highs ans well as lows and these babies are more than up to the job!

Good for a little monitor

I could not believe how good these 75-watt monitors were when I tried them out. For the low price they are very to beat. The drivers provide low distortion and smooth frequency response. They also have a low density switch that helps adjust the monitors for the acoustic space. The monitors also handle the bass frequencies quite well. The mid range frequencies are represented fairly well but they could be better. Overall this is an excellent monitor for the price.
