Salem, Oregon Drummer

The DM5 is a great and "SIMPLE" module. I'm just starting to explore the world of electronic drums and I must say this unit is great. Some reviews on other DM5 products go either way.. You have to remember it's not 1000+ dollar unit like a TD 20 from roland etc. What's great though is you can hook this up to a sequencer or an I\\o and get better sounds with it. And the sounds it does come with aren't to bad. So for the beginner in electric percussion this is a most excellent module. Just remember you get what ya pay for.

Dm5 is ALIVE!

I love my DM5. The drum samples that come with it are a little cheesy but it has midi ports so you can hook it yo with drums from hell, or BFD and it really kicks a lot of butt. For the money this box is well worth it, and you can use it not only with drums, but any midi device. Even if the preset samples are a little weak, it is nice to just be able to plug in and play, no setup needed. The controls make it easy to use, and very flexable. You have so many options that I don't think I will ever need to sell it.
