For all drummers who are sick of spending their paychecks on stupid vic firth sticks then go Ahead with these sticks (lol) Seriously if you want a strong sound like Lars' then you'll get these sticks. The feel at the hilt of the stick is metal-like so it won't blister your hands too bad. Plus the feeling of the sticks is unique, no other brand can match up to these sticks. A definent must have

i got this about a year ago now, and as it was impressive that the sticks never broke, it cracked every single one of my cymbals over the course of 1 year. i would not wish this on my worst enemy. im in the process of replacing the cymbals as i get the money. i would never reccomend these, stick with wood, when the sticks break its only $5 when cymbals break its $150-$300.

So amazing

By Grant Brown

from Akron Ohio

Originally i didn't want them, the price seemed too much for a drumstick but on our anniversary my girlfriend bought me some and i LOVE them, they play smooth and i haven't even had to replace the cover yet and its been about a year, some say you will break cymbals but that is a lie, as long as you don't hit stupidly hard with the handle part of your stick you cymbals are perfectly safe

Heavy, Loud, and Awesome

By Nolan Bellinger

from Saginaw, MI

O.M.G, these sticks are the best. They have a good grip at the front part. They last for almost forever. It does not matter if you are a hard hitter or a soft hitter, it is awesome. If you break a lot of wood sticks, then you should buy these drum sticks. If you are like Lars and go threw like 5 pair of wooden sticks in Blackened on the And Justice for All.. album then these are the sticks you need. I hope this helped you.

No Competition!

By Tyler Richard

from Lynn, MA

I am a huge Metallica fan as well as a guitarist and drummer. I have a Yamaha DTXplorer electric drum kit that I use for my drumming, and I must say, these sticks are the best I've ever owned. I've tried Vater and such and it requires more effort and power to make a strong and loud sound on the pads, which isn't very effective. I got these for Christmas and they are the be-all-and-end-all! Less effort is required to make a more powerful hit due to the weight and the nylon tips are PERFECT for rolls. Speed is also not a problem with them!

Great sticks

By Devin

from keswick, Va

These feel great and I now prefer them over wooden ones. The only thing that i don't like about them is after a while of use the shoulder tends to get beat up rather easy from hitting the cymbals. But it doesn't really effect anything other than the feel of the shoulder, it will be rough.

Awesome!

By Tater Tots

from New Hampton, Iowa

These are great. I usually destroy drumsticks in about, 1-2 months, I've had these sticks longer than that and they're still good. Polyurethane lasts a lot longer than wood. And if you just want something flashy looking, they say "METALLICA" and "Lars" on them. Two thumbs up!
