These sticks are well worth the price. They are the perfect stick for that hardcore rock drummer. they last forever so one pair will last you at least a year (Mine Have), they have a really good hard loud full sound and there isn't a rock stick much better. The Only downfall is that they are heavy, after one set of playing hard your arms are gonna feel really limp and jelloish. but it does make for an excelent work out stick for agility and quickness.

I've been a drummer a little over 2 years now and I've used a alot of different sticks. The sticks in question however are some of the best I.ve ever used. I would reccomend highly getting grip, I have some pretty big callouses from them but regardless, I love them.

I have had these sticks for going on 7 months now and i have only replaced the plastic slips once, but i have gone through 4 pairs of wood sticks.. They are a little bit heavy but the weight its all in the front of the stick that which is nice makes it easier to put the right amount of force in without the effort.. Only problem i have had is that i did not make sure to super glue(as instructed to) the heads on after replacing the slips and in turn a head flew off and i marked up my coated snare head. all in all great product

I just got my pair of Ahead Rock sticks today, played for about an hour and a half and let me tell you, I'm never going back to wood. To me they feel a little bit lighter than my Vaters and I love how they dont vibrate when you hit your cymbals. Overall amazing product. though the cost is a little steep.

i bought these sticks because a kid i knew had them and gave me good advice on them. they are awesome sticks for the first couple of months. they not only look stellar at shows, but they feel good even w/out the grip tape. the only thing is tightening and weight. its hard to tighten it, just to the extent to where you can still get it off. as far as weight goes, its light at the grip but the shaft is heavier because of the plastic. ive had to replace 1 time in 3-4 months.
