Ahead Rock Drumsticks are truly ahead of their time. Ergonomically tuned handle diameters. Precision alloy core provides negligible weight and balance variations. Super-hard replacement polyurethane covers protect both sticks and gear. Ahead Rock Drumsticks' vibration-reduction system reduces hand fatigue.
AHEAD drumsticks are not unbreakable. AHEAD drumsticks have a much longer life span than traditional wood drumsticks.
AHEAD warrants its drumstick core against defects in material and workmanship for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of purchase, subject to the following:
1. Warranty is not applicable to tips, covers or grip tape which are replaceable.
2. Warranty does not apply to sticks damaged by use of worn-out covers or dents in the handle.
The user must replace covers when they show through-cuts. Chips or dents in core shaft will reduce the stick life up to 75%.
3. Warranty is not applicable to misuse and does not apply if any alterations have been made.
4. For all warranty claims purchased in the USA and Canada, the defective product must be sent with a copy of the sales receipt, post paid to:

For AHEAD drumsticks purchased outside of the USA and Canada, please refer to your local distributor. Do not send extra covers or original packaging (send both sticks only.) Allow up to 2-4 weeks for shipping and handling.
5. Because AHEAD cannot control usage of this product. AHEAD's sole responsibility will be replacement of defective merchandise. AHEAD will not be responsible for damage to person or equipment due to the use of this product.

I just got my pair of Ahead Rock sticks today, played for about an hour and a half and let me tell you, I'm never going back to wood. To me they feel a little bit lighter than my Vaters and I love how they dont vibrate when you hit your cymbals. Overall amazing product. though the cost is a little steep.
I have had these sticks for going on 7 months now and i have only replaced the plastic slips once, but i have gone through 4 pairs of wood sticks.. They are a little bit heavy but the weight its all in the front of the stick that which is nice makes it easier to put the right amount of force in without the effort.. Only problem i have had is that i did not make sure to super glue(as instructed to) the heads on after replacing the slips and in turn a head flew off and i marked up my coated snare head. all in all great product
These sticks are great they last twice as long and doesn't need alot of force to get the full sound of your cymbals and toms the only down fall the metal ends need grip but once you have the whole setup you will be amazed
