Well worth the price
I have used the 5A sticks for about a month and a half now and these are by far my favorite pair of sticks. I have tried all the brands, (Vic Firth, Pro Mark, Zildjian, Reagal) but these ahead sticks take the top spot. Sure they may be $30 but within a year you really save the money. With the time I have been using these sticks, I would have already went through one pair, and these still look fine. The replacement sleeves are only $3.50 so you save $5 every time. My hands and wrists have also felt better because I have noticed that you get less vibration from these sticks which is a great feature. Also they do not make your cymbals look like they have a layer of dirt on them, they stay clean which is nice because everyone wants their kit to shine. I highly recommend these to anyone who is serious about drumming, consider it a great investment.

The Best For Sure!!
I bought the Joey Jordison Ahead Signatures for $35, i thought it was a waste of money, but man was i wrong. these are the most durable sticks i have ever had. The aluminum core and handle gives you a much better feel when playing. Im 14, and have been playng since i was 4, and these are for sure the best sticks in the world.

They are very good!
Ahead drumsticks are awsome drumsticks. They make it easier to play. The sticks reduce vibrations and last a lot longer. the only problem is that they are rub on your hands more. so if you use them use the griptape or the drumming gloves. I used the 5a and think its an awsome brand, lasts alot longer and has less vibrations.

The best sticks I own
The Ahead sticks are the perfect stick for the all around drummer, if you want a lighter more ccrisp sound simply buy a smaller pair or different sized head. These are the only sticks I have that have ever lasted for longer than a month. I play loud and aggresively so I need something to last theses sticks do that for me. but when I'm playin lite I can play that too with a smaller sized ahead.

I love these if you are thinking about buying them well... There is no thinking to be done, you cannot get any better than these sticks. Everything about them is perfect

These sticks make me very happy
If drum sticks can change lives, these are them.
They feel great, sound better and although expensive at first, waaaay better than thrashing and trashing pair after pair of the 7A ProMarks I've been using. Oh, and would it be too weird to mention that there's no pesky, messy wood chip residue all over the caret after I play? Thank you Ahead. Only downside, if you can call it that, is I think I need to upgrade my snare now -- these sticks punish!!!!
Buy these sticks - you won't be sorry!!!!

Golden
I had my sticks for four years and now I finally have to buy a new pair. They broke almost in the center but as I have stated, they have been great for four years. They are light, tough, and in the long run cheaper. The only problem I have encountered was trying to buy a replacement ring. Other than that, this is a great, if not must, buy. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

They're Great
Basically these drum sticks are great. They are long lasting, sound great, and dont ruin your cymbals at all. They feel like a regular drum stick except you can't really do rim shots or anything like that. Believe it or not I snapped of the end but they did last me a around 4 months and saved me a lot of money. They kind of get slippery so I wouldn't play them during gigs but they are great for practicing. The tips and covers are easy to replace and are also cheap. Yea dude these things pwn.. haha

very good sticks
I have to pairs of these sticks that I alternate between depending on which one has less worn out sleeves but one of them did crack in the middle, I mean the sleeve was fine but the metal inside just sheared of right where I do my rim shots. I think it was just a bad stick because it was one of the sticks from the latest pair I bought. My original sticks are still in mint condition and I wouldn't go back to regular wood sticks for anything these feel better and you will save money in the long run, especially if you play anything like me and are always doing rim shots and going through a pair of sticks every week. BUY THESE!!!!

Best sticks I've ever touched
AWESOME, totally awesome!! The people at Easton/Ahead really did there homework on this one. I bought these sticks about 2 months ago and just last night I noticed some small, almost unnoticable cracks on the tips. These tips are way cheaper than buying 25 - 30 pairs of wood sticks a month. I play hard, REALLY hard. Most people would say to hard, but hey thats my style! I was breaking Vic Firths left and right, three in an hour once. The covers are in great shape, very few marks or dents. So, If you play hard and break alot of sticks these babies are for YOU! Trust me.
