Behind the big, boomy sound of the Acoustic B115NEO Speaker Cabinet is a single 15" custom neodymium driver pushing 400W. Neodymium speakers have only been used in bass enclosure for a relatively short amount of time, but they are definitely revolutionary. The magnets are highly sensitive, so your sound is very dynamic and responsive to the touch. Also, thanks to its powerful and lightweight qualities, the whole enclosure weighs significantly less than traditional alnico and ceramic speaker magnets. In addition, the speaker frame isn't as big and bulky with neo speakers, making this cabinet lighter and manageable for lots of late-night packing and unpacking. Both your ears and your lower back will know the difference.
Since the founding of the Acoustic brand in California in 1967, many legendary musicians, including some of music's premier rock, jazz and funk players, have chosen Acoustic as their amplifier of choice. The Acoustic design philosophy is "simplicity," allowing you to dial up great sound in an instant. The B115 NEO continues the great Acoustic tradition of simply great sound”so turn it up and discover what players have known for decades: Acoustic is the pro's tone since 1967.

I played through this and the 2x10 neo cab together and separate. They were very light. They sounded great with the Acoustic B200 or B600 head. When I tried them with my Orange Terror Bass head they lacked low end. I would recommend using both cabs for great all around tone with the B200 or 600 amp. If you could only buy one- get the 1x15 because it gives good low end and the horn provides plenty of highs that cut through the mix.
I have loved acoustic amps for many years and when I saw their new line I had to try it out. I stopped in Guitar Center and started playing on the B600 head and the B115 Neo cab. I was blown away not only by the great lows but also the incredible mids and highs. This puppy sings! Acoustic has made yet another fantastic cab. Go try it out for yourself.
If you're looking for an extremely nice sounding amp at a more affordable price (compared to Ampeg and Markbass), this is it. This size is perfect to provide a large, beautiful tone without taking up too much space. If you're heading into a Guitar Center make sure to try this one out!
I recently got this cabinet from a friend who is quitting bass. I have the non-Neo copy of this from Acoustic, and WOW! This cabinet is much better. It kicks a lot of sound, and sounds amazing for a single 115. I've gigged with this, and it puts out more then enough sound. Completely solid cab.
I have been playin since i was in 5th grade and have had alot of amp and nothing really evens comnes close in comparison of sound quality and price, i use the h200 amp head and it has no feedback at all, it has amazing tone and super low and clean bass, i absolutely love this amp
I needed a 15" speaker cab to round out my sound. I was pushing an 8x10 Carvin cab and my mid-range tone was off the hook. SUPER punchy mids. But I had absolutely no room-filling bottom end. I think I need one more of these cabinets to go with my 8x10 and I will be good to go. In the meantime, my band can feel the difference let alone hear it. This cabinet is really woofy. Bang for the buck for sure. Can't beat the price and quality unless you get a big-name brand cab on sale or something. I am buying one more of these. Repeat: I liked it enough that I am buying another one.
I purchased this to go with my Acoustic B450 combo. What an excellent choice! The B15 Neo added a little more bottom end (The B450 already has that pretty much covered.) and even more quality to the great tone of the B450. Alo, I installed Ernie Ball wheels on the B15 Neo, and stack the B450 combo on top of it. What an awesome looking rig. I have also hooked my old 70's Peavy 400 Series head to this as a stand alone unit. Although the Peavey is only 210 watts @ 2 ohms, and the B115 Neo is 400 watts at 8 ohms, you would never know it. I gigged with this set-up and the rig sounded awesome. And the B115 responded tremendouly to the Peavey 400 Series. Didn't even need to run the bass through the PA! I highly recommend this compact, lighter weight cabinet.
I bought one of these to go with my Carvin MB10 Micro Bass Amp. It's a tiny 250 watt combo with a 10" speaker. Adding the B115NEO makes it sound incredible. Amazingly crisp low-end with solid (not mushy) mids. And the tweeter is great for popping. Best of all, it's won't break the bank or your back. It's inexpensive and light, well, light for a bass cabinet.
