Availability:

A serious head and a wicked cab: together at last.

Now get both the Acoustic B200H Bass Amp Head and the Acoustic B115 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet as a package deal. With these 2 monsters in your arsenal, there's no venue you can't shake up.

The B200H 200W Bass Head:

The Acoustic B200H professional bass amp head is designed for large club and live applications where it will fill any stage with depth and definition. Used in conjunction with the B115 bass speaker cab, the B200H is a bass amp head that will easily drive either 1 or 2 cabinets in any combination of your choice.

The 2 bass inputs are designed to accommodate both active and passive bass instruments while the Gain and Volume controls give you complete control over the character of your tone. Increase the gain for some old school rock tones, or lower it and turn up the volume for great clean, classic or funk tones. The preamp includes a very natural and tube-like compression as well as a harmonically rich distortion circuit, which keeps your tone musical—even at high volume levels. The B200H bass amp also includes a notch filter to tailor your mids, and a 6-band EQ for exact control over every nuance of your bass's tone.

Rear panel features include a parallel Effects Loop, and XLR balanced Line Out with Level Control and Ground Lift. The 2 speaker output jacks allow you to directly connect to each speaker enclosure (such as the B115 and/or B410) to maximize your tone and power.

The B115 250W 1x15 Bass Cabinet

The Acoustic B115 bass speaker cabinet has a professional enclosure designed for large clubs and live applications. Used in conjunction with the Acoustic B200H bass amp head, the B115 cabinet will easily handle the power of your amplifier and provide wall-shaking lows and a massive bottom end. Although conservatively rated at 250W RMS, any combination of Acoustic B115 or B410 speaker cabinets may be used for larger venues.

The B115 bass cabinet features a rock-solid, tuned and ported design with heavy internal bracing, caster sockets and professional spring-loaded touring handles with rubber grips. Heavy-duty rubber feet allow secure stacking and ensure solid placement on any floor surface. Rear panel features include a recessed jackplate with parallel dual 1/4" jacks and a horn on/off switch.

Classic Acoustic cosmetics include nickel corners, black grille cloth with white piping, heavy-duty roadworthy covering material, and steel trim strips with understated blue accent color. It all adds to the durability (and legacy vibe) of this great bass speaker cabinet.

  • Great Amp.

As reviewed by Nick on 3/31/2009

Plain and simple, I've found myself infatuated with this amp. It's smooth deliverance always causes me to be ever so sprightly on stage. The sound is great. The group I perform with play in a lot of churches and schools, and miraculously I've never had the necessity to go over about a quarter up on the knob. One thing I did notice is a small whistle coming from the back although it becomes unnoticeable with higher volumes. Overall, I highly recommend this combo to any bass player in dire straits of some great sounds.

  • Awesome!

As reviewed by James Giannoni on 5/14/2009

I got this thing about a month ago and I love it! The Horn on it is great for slap bass, and the dark tone is great. When you hit those real low notes it makes the ground beneath you shake! The head is also one great peace of work, it's 6 band EQ is really great in that I can get many different sounds out of it. If you play bass, get it!

  • The amp that finally made me smile

As reviewed by Taylor on 9/20/2009

I've had some experience with brands like fender and the like. I actually used to play through a Fender Bassman...but...it wasn't what i wanted. I play a 6-string, and all i got was lows, and I got WAY to much of them. No highs or mids at all. just ground shaking lows and they were muddy. And it really wasn't that loud. The Guitarist in my band plays a Peavey XXX through a Marshall JCM 900....and that thing is LOUD. So needless to say more often than not i had my ear to my amp trying to hear it(it didn't help that our drummer is also obscenely loud). Well I had been wanting to upgrade to a stack for a while but i wanted something that was loud, sounded good, and was affordable. I looked at a GK Backline 600, and even played one for a while, but in the end i give it a thumbs down. It didn't like low notes very well, and it got muddy, which is half the reason i was getting a new amp. Then i ran into this. I have this combo deal also with a B410...and its does some serious cranking. And it does it with a nice smooth tone, and if you want a nice little smidge of distortion. Its no SWR...but dang is that ever bang for your buck. I am definitely NOT using anyone else's amp next time my band goes on tour. So overall 2 thumbs up.
