A seriously powerful amp for serious bassists.

The Acoustic B200 professional combo is designed for large club and live applications where the sound of its 15" bass driver and horn will fill the stage with warmth and punch. That's because it pounds a massive 200 watts RMS into the internal 15" speaker, delivering the classic Acoustic pro's tone in a portable, professional design.

The two bass inputs are designed to accommodate both active and passive bass instruments while the Gain and Volume controls give you complete control over the character of your tone. Increase the gain for some old school rock tones, or lower it and turn up the volume for great clean, classic or funk tones. The preamp includes a very natural and tube-like compression as well as a harmonically rich distortion circuit, which keeps your tone musical-even at high volume levels. The B200 also includes a frequency sweepable -10dB notch filter to tailor your mids, and a six-band EQ for exact control over every nuance of your bass's tone.

Rear panel features include a parallel effects loop, tweeter on/off switch, and XLR balanced Line Out with Level Control and Ground Lift. The series extension speaker jack provides an output for an additional cabinet such as the Acoustic B115 or B410.

The heritage of Acoustic comes through loud and clear in the B200-a seriously professional amp for serious bassists.

The Best for the Price

Simply the best for the price with a graphic equalizer where you really make your own sound, but don't be fooled by it's size this amp kicks. I keep my gain at a quarter and volume half way and i'm almost drowning out a drumset, and not losing my tone. John Paul Jones, Jaco and many others played acoustic. It's ideal for small gigs and practice. I recommend to anyone ready to take the next step in bass playing

A truely vintage masterpiece!

I've been sold on this combo for quite a while now. I like to play the Geddy Lee signature bass through this and am able to get some superior vintage, crunchy growls from it. On top of tone, the internal speaker works as 4 ohms and therefor can tuely get all 200 watts out of the head for outragiously high volumes without distorting! Simply the best 200 watt combo I have ever played! Many thumbs up!!!!!!

Holy crap!!!!

Just got this amp this afternoon and took it to band practice tonight. Sitting right in between 2 full Marshall stacks, it was still loud enough to get the neighbors to come over and whine about their windows rattling. Definitely impressive, growly sound. Buy this amp.
