The Acoustic AG30 acoustic amp is perfect for performing singer/songwriters looking for an easy and excellent way to amplify their instrument and voice without having to cart around multiple pieces of gear.

The 3 band EQ with sweepable mid band provides satisfying control over your tone. Also included is a selectable effects section, with 16 high-quality digital effects, including reverbs, delays and choruses. A chart detailing each effect is located on top of your the amp, so you'll never lose it.

For quiet practice, use the 1/8" stereo headphone jack, and for pre-recorded accompaniment, the AG30 amp has an 1/8" stereo aux input. Plug in a CD or MP3 player and play along. Finally, a Line Out affords you the opportunity to send your signal to a PA, for amplification in larger spaces.

  • Nice little amp

As reviewed by Barleymowband on 10/29/2008

Just picked this up a week ago and I was very pleased with the way it sounds. Our band just started doing acoustic gigs so I picked this up to use in smaller venues. Our other guitar player bought one as well. The effects switch gives you multiple combos for different sounds. And it is handy having the 2 channels to input the mic. My only issue is that both channels share the effects. So if you are using Echo/Reverb for the guitar, you will also get it with the vocals. They have seperate volume controls but the effects are not seperate. I might upgrade to the AG60 which offers seperate effects and EQ on each channel..

  • Perfect!

As reviewed by Isaac on 4/27/2009

I recently went to my local GC to look at getting a Vox Pathfinder 15R to haul around to small gigs and to practice with. Instead the smaller version of this amp, the 10 or 15 watt version caught my eye. I played on it a few times with a CHEAP guitar, and could not believe the great sound the amp provided. I eventually searched the store and found this bigger version, which fits my needs a lot better. I love this amp and would recomend it to anyone.

  • Astonishingly good sound

As reviewed by Nash Barr on 10/1/2010

If you're looking for an acoustic guitar amp or small P.A. with a truly clean and almost perfectly neutral sound, this is it. Most small amps sound "boxy" or "honky" - but the Acoustic AG30, almost miraculously, is virtually free of these problems. Absolutely superb for acoustic guitars, acoustic/electric guitars, male vocals, and female vocals - it will make your instrument or voice louder without changing the tone at all (unless you intentionally tweak the tone controls). The tone controls have a wide range and are very effective. I was able to dial in the sweetest tone I have ever heard from my piezo-equipped acoustic-electric guitar. The built in effects are excellent too, and I am particularly fond of the reverbs and delays. To me, this amp has only two negatives: one, it is rather heavy and bulky to carry to a gig. Two, the tone control and effects are shared by both inputs, so you can't dial in one setting for the guitar and another for the vocals. The sound quality is so good, though, that I would not give up this amp without a fight! I set the AG30 for the vocalist, and use a graphic equalizer pedal to fine tune my guitar tone. The Acoustic AG30 is one of those rare audio products that is truly outstanding where it matters most - in sound quality. It's perfect for use as a stage monitor, P.A. for small gigs, or practice amp. I liked it so much I bought a second one!
