The AKG Player's Pack Guitar Wireless System comes with GB 40 guitarbug UHF transmitter and SR40 UHF reciever, plus a D 880 vocal microphone and a D 440 unidirectional dynamic microphone to mic your cab, all in a travel case.
The GB 40 guitarbug is probably the easiest way to turn your guitar into a wireless instrument. The FlexJack swivel jack plug will mate with any type of output jack and is spring loaded to hold the GB 40 securely against the instrument. In addition, the GB 40 is so small it is almost invisible and won't be in your way while playing. Since the GB 40 sits right on top of the instrument's output jack, the noiseless on/mute/off switch and gain control are always within easy reach. Integrated charging contacts allow you to charge the battery quickly and easily on the optional CU 40 charging unit, without having to remove the battery.
The SR 40 UHF receiver features a single fixed frequency and multichannel capability for simultaneous use of up to 7 channels. The SR 40's High-Definition Audio Performance technology ensures realistic sound and ideal audio transmission.
The D 880 hardwired mic is ideal for lead and backing vocals onstage. The D 880 features a Varimotion process, which makes it possible to produce a diaphragm with differentiating thicknesses by allowing the adjustment to take place at the diaphragm.
The D 440 cardioid microphone is ideal for tough onstage use on guitar amps. The D 440 also features the Varimotion diaphragm. The strong plastic housing and the wire-mesh outer grille of the D 440 protect the transducer system from damage. The outer grille and a layer of special fabric beneath it form a very effective windscreen to suppress pop and wind noise. An integrated stand adapter provides for precise microphone alignment with the instrument. The supplied H 440 bracket allows you to clamp the microphone directly on a snare drum, tom-tom, or similar percussion instrument.
